Friday, 18th October, 2019 between the hours of 12:00pm and 2:00pm saw the Hon. Dadzie led administration successfully hand over to the new leadership under the watch of Hon. Augustine Appiah.
The event was held at Wesley College of Education (Wesco) in the Ashanti and Brong-Ahafo (ASHBA) Sector. In attendance were the National Officers, National Executive Council for 2018/2019 and 2019/2020, not forgetting the Ex – Officers ( Grey Hairs ) who were also present. Students of Wesley College of Education were also present.


Hon. Bright Aboagye Gyasi, the immediate past General Secretary for the ASHBA Sector introduced the Chairman of the Occasion as a one time SRC president for Berekum College of Education and the immediate past president of the ASHBA Sector of TTAG named, Hon. Abu Sadick Mohammed.
The Chairman in his acceptance address, thanked the house and organisers for this colourful function for this recognition rendered unto him. He further urged the house to cooperate fully in all the activities that would take place to make the event a memorable one.

Gradually, the moment for which was the main reason for the gathering was due. The Immediate Past Coordinator for TTAG, Hon. Chimsa Farouk ushered both the newly elected officers and outgoing executives to mount the podium. They stood opposite to each other respectively according to their Portfolios, as the outgoing executives humbly handed the baton of leadership onto the New National Officers.

Hon. Augustine Appiah, the National President for 2019/2020 TTAG year in his speech to the house, thanked the immediate past leadership for their contributions to the association and trainees at large. Another appreciation went to the Electoral Commission for the smooth and transparent election conducted.

He further added that, he has much trust in his team and for that matter they are going to work assiduously to meet the demands of Trainees.
He appealed to Trainees to support the new leadership in this quest.
After the event, our correspondent spoke with some of the students gathered. Generally they were happy with how the various proceedings took place as they commended the Hon. Anthony Dadzie led leadership for a good work done and urged the new leadership under the watch of Hon. Augustine Appiah to do their utmost best in their quest to serve the trainees nationwide.
